We took a wonderful cruise with Society Expeditions aboard The World Discoverer in April/May 2004. We visited islands that larger ships could never visit. On each stop, we went ashore via Zodiac. We were welcomed as friends and greeted on each island with a beautiful lei made from the local flowers and leaves. On each island, there was a welcoming ceremony with dancers, drinks and food. This 19 day journey will always remain in our hearts as one of the memorable cruises of our lifetime.
