Our full day tour began in the village of Hellesylt and took us across the heights of the Geirangerfjord. A winding road leads from the town up to a beautiful long valley with a pastoral landscape between towering mountains. Beyond are magnificient glacial lakes and some of Norway's most stunning scenery. In the afternoon, we ascended to the summit of Mount Dalsnibba with its breathtaking vistas and we stopped at Flydal Gorge where we saw the classic view of Geirangerfjord and our ship below.
